RDOG Game of life

SPONSOR A RDOG GAME OF LIFE GROUP ACTIVITY

This is a presentation to high school students.  It's a 90-minute activity where students work through the financial impact of their financial decisions from the stage of determining their desired career to funding the costs of all relevant higher education, purchasing their first car, first property and the income they will generate and retain as a result of their decisions.

Volunteer students from each group receive gift cards after the completion of each simulation.  We’d LOVE to give out gift cards to more students!  Activity cost per RDOG Game of Life group - $1,800 (includes food, gift cards, activity and program fee for 25 students). For only $72 per student you can drastically empower lives!

Through your generosity, you'll empower...

Program participants experience

  • identifying their preferred career goal,
  • determining the academic credential requirements,
  • determining the undergrad cost of those credentials,
  • identifying the potential first year income of preferred career (ROI),
  • choosing a vehicle and first property,
  • assessing the costs of savings, financing and ROI on vehicle and property selections,
  • winning or losing the game of life based on ending cash flow and/or net worth.

This empowers students to apply to the RDOG Scholarship Roundtable in pursuit of debt free college degrees regardless of socioeconomic status.

sponsor a rdog sCHOLARSHIP ROUNDTABLE STUDENT (RDOG SR)

This program's mission is to produce 100s of debt free college graduates by sourcing funding alternatives to debt and implementing a scholarship application approach that eliminates the intimidation of the process for students, makes it fun and addictive.  Annual cost per RDOG Scholarship Roundtable student - $2,500 (includes food, dedicated space for students, USPS costs, binders, folders, envelopes, notebooks, financial literacy courses and program fee). For only $208 per month you can change a student’s financial future!

Students develop college education funding plans to fund higher education using alternative sources to debt by way of targeted financial literacy simulations and tasks.  We assign a College Funding Assistant (CFA) to every 2 enrolled high school juniors and seniors.  The CFA serves as the students Executive Assistant specifically as it relates to developing and executing a college funding plan.  This plan is centered around scholarships and alternative funding sources that exclude debt.

RDOG SR also hires a high school freshman or sophomore to serve as a Scholarship Research Assistant (SRA).  The SRA condenses and simplifies scholarship application requirements and instructions.  This step is in place to help relieve the pressure of the scholarship application process for both our CFA and high school juniors and seniors.

Through your generosity, you'll empower...

This program is focused solely on the elimination of using traditional debt sources as means to fund college education.  Our professional staff and volunteers support

  • the student,
  • their parent(s),
  • high school counselor, and/or
  • college financial aid advisor

in ensuring that our students cease to neglect opportunities for alternative funding sources, such as scholarships, by implementing a streamlined, disciplined and process oriented accountability system referred to as the RDOG Scholarship Roundtable.  Our professional staff and volunteers do not serve in any areas that do not directly impact the reduction and/or elimination of debt credits to students' college financial accounts.
